The Municipal Government of Belo Horizonte (PBH – Prefeitura de Belo Horizonte) has made steady progress in the implementation of policies related to all three areas of the DPL: (i) inclusive urban development; (ii) green and sustainable practices; and (iii) socially and fiscally sustainable urban governance. Notable advances include (i) the Municipal Sub-Secretariat for Urban Regulation surpassed the goal of the regularization of 12,155 households to reach 12,636 Public Disclosure Copy (indicator n.1); (ii) Civil Defense issues monthly reports on use of its early warning system (indicators n.12); and (iii) BH Resolve, a one-stop-shop for access to public services, reached a satisfaction rate of 97%, exceeding the target of 90% (indicator n.9). Of the project’s 16 indicators, 8 have been met and an additional 4 show progress toward being met by the close of the project in December, 2014. Two indicators were still in the process of being measured, and 2 are unlikely to be met by the close of the project.
