Page 1 of 7 The World Bank Report No: ISR10246 - For Component 2: (i) the Training Division completed the training of instructors and the preparation of the new curriculum for the pre-service training for multi-grade primary school teachers. Teacher Training Schools are being renovated and equipped. The training in the five Teacher Training Schools began in April 2013; (ii) the Training Division completed the training of 205 coordinators of TEPCES (Evaluation, Programming and Educational Training Workshops). Pedagogical materials for the TEPCES was acquired; (iii) the Division of Evaluation completed several training activities for pedagogical inspectors and directors on the 2009 and 2010 standardized student evaluations and on the factors associated with Public Disclosure Copy the evaluation results. The Division of Evaluation launched the preparation of: (i) the baseline assessment of student evaluation for grades 1, 2 and 4 in the 40 municipalities; (ii) the 2014 the national standardized student evaluation; and (iii) the UNESCO Third Regional Comparative Standardized Student Evaluation. - For component 3: (i) the Planning Division launched the diagnostic of the planning, monitoring and statistical processes and tools of the Ministry of Education in late 2012; (ii) the Division of Infrastructure completed the inventory of the 8,614 public schools; and (iii) work on 25 pre-investment studies began in late 2012.
