The contract implementation duration is 22.5 months. Construction works are expected to commence approximately 6 months from contract signing, following the preparation of final designs and after all construction permits have been secured. The Project is now on track to achieve its Development Objective to increase the environmental benefits of integrated solid waste management in Grodno through recovery and reuse of recyclable material. In view of progress made, the two project ratings - Progress towards the Project Development Objective (PDO) as well as Implementation Progress (IP) are upgraded from “Moderately Unsatisfactory (MU)” to "Moderately Satisfactory". Going forward, proactive supervision will be important for timely completion of construction works and commissioning of the plant.
