The project aims to achieve the following results: increase in marketed output in at least 60 percent of targeted value chains and agribusinesses funded under the project credit line and grant facilities. This objective continues to be achievable. 68 percent of beneficiary agribusinesses financed by the project credit line report growth of 48 percent in sales. Some adjustments have been made in the scope of the food safety and plant health related activities of the project in view of the reforms of the institutional set-up in the food safety system. The new Food Safety Agency become a beneficiary agency for the project food safety related investments. Some changes have been introduced also to the terms of the project credit line to agribusiness to ease the access of the participating banks and agribusiness to the project credit line.
