The client has completed the contracting for the civil works of the 5 stations financed by the loan. Construction works are being carried out for three of these stations; and ground and utility preparation works are being conducted for the rest two stations. The tender for the depot has been deferred pending the redesign of its superstructure. Track laying and equipment procurement will take place when the stations are completed. The client is firming up the specifications for other equipment tender and drafting the Terms of Reference for the TA consultancies.
