Advances have been achieved in all components: (i) MexicoFirst has now issued more than 70,000 high-level certifications; (ii) over 600 companies have been supported and certificated, which has placed Mexico as the 8th country globally with the highest number of certified companies in CMMI; (iii) the model for the IT FIT program with a pilot in IT companies has been completed and more than 340 companies have gone through the program before June 2014; (iv) technical assistance has been provided to IT parks based on international best practices; (v) capacity building Public Disclosure Copy training workshops on PPP have been delivered to government entities; and (vi) more than 600 officials have been trained on IT law and regulation. In regards to disbursement, during 2014 two disbursements have been processed so far for a total of US$11.2 million, raising total project disbursement rate up to 71.17%. For 2015, disbursement commitments stand for another $24 million, an amount that will complete 100% of proceeds.
