We have audited the accompanving tinancial statements of the Vocation Irawnin
improvement Proiect 1fnanced under World Bank Loan credit No. 4319- IN. kNhiPh
comprise the statement of Sources and Application of Funds and the Recunciliation of
Claims to Total Applications of Funds fOr the sear 2017-18. These Statements are the
responsibility of the Project's Nianagement. Our responsibility is to express in opiiont
on the accompanying financial statements based on our audit.
We conducted our audit in accordance with the Auditin Standards promulgated b
the Comptroller and Auditor General of India. Those Standards require that w e plan
and perform the audit to obtain reasonable assurance about whether the financial
statements are free of material misstatement. Our audit examined. on a test basis.
evidence supporting the amounts and disclosures ir the financial statements. It also
includes assessing the accounting principles used and significant estimates made b
management, as well as evaluating the overall statement presentation. We believe that
our audit provides a reasonable basis for our opinion.
In our opinion, the financial statements presents fairly,. in all material respects., the
sources and application of funds of Vocational Training Improvement Project I0r the
year 2017-18 in accordance with Government of India Accounting Standards.
In addition, in our opinion, (a) with respect to SOEs, adequate supporting
documentation has been maintained to support claims to the World Bank 1r
reimbursements of expenditure incurred, and (b) except for incligible expenditure us
detailed in the audit observations. if any. appended to this audit report, expendituEIC
are eligible for financing under the Loan / Credit Agreement.
Durint the course of the audit, SOEs;FMRs and the connected document were
examined and these can be relied upon to support reimbursement under the Loan
Agreements as detailed below:
