It will do so by: (i) further increasing the capacity of the 2IE campuses in Kamboinsé and Ouagadougou to train and board students ; (ii) improving the quality of training and research programs, particularly at master and doctorate levels; and (iii) improving the institute management and communication capacity. The remaining one is related to the number of students: 2,107 students from 28 Page 1 of 6 The World Bank Report No: ISR14421 countries were enrolled, slightly lower than the 2,200 students target to be achieved by project closing (November 2014). This target is likely to be reached, even exceeded, during next academic entries in May and September, 2014. Regarding the intermediate indicators, 20 out of 25 (80%) have been achieved or exceeded the target, and the remaining five are on track to be achieved by project closing. The remaining ones are related to the: (i) number of students financed by the enterprises; (ii) number of doctoral students; (iii) number of square meters built; (iv) boarding capacity; and (v) Number of countries of origin of 2iE students.
