After experiencing initial implementation delays due to capacity constraints and procedural bottlenecks, the Project has made notable progress and is now on a trajectory that should lead to timely achievement of the Project Development Objective (PDO). First, the Project has strengthened the capacity of INIAF to carry out agricultural research, provide technical assistance, provide training to producers and producer organizations, and support the national seed system.
