The Performance-based maintenance on section 1 has been ongoing since August 2017 and on section 3 it will start in December 2018 and on Section 4 on December 2019. The quality of civil works overall is largely satisfactory. However, damages caused by landslides and defects identified during the technical field visit need to be repaired as soon as possible. The large bidding processes for the activities to be financed with the second Additional Financing are completed, including for the upgrading and maintenance of section 2, the supervision of section 2, the feasibility study and designs for the branch road from Aituto to Gleno. The selection of individual consultants to support the PMU has stopped due to the restructuring of the PMU staff. Since the last supervision mission in October 2018, the disbursement under the project increased by 21%, from USD45.5 million to USD55.2 million. With the start of the civil works contract for section 2, the disbursements should continue to occur on a satisfactory matter. . 5/10/2019 Page 1 of 9 The World Bank Implementation Status & Results Report Timor Leste Road Climate Resilience Project (P125032) 5/10/2019 Page 2 of 9 The World Bank Implementation Status & Results Report Timor Leste Road Climate Resilience Project (P125032) 5/10/2019 Page 3 of 9 The World Bank Implementation Status & Results Report Timor Leste Road Climate Resilience Project (P125032) 5/10/2019 Page 4 of 9 The World Bank Implementation Status & Results Report Timor Leste Road Climate Resilience Project (P125032) 5/10/2019 Page 5 of 9 The World Bank Implementation Status & Results Report Timor Leste Road Climate Resilience Project (P125032) Risks Systematic Operations Risk-rating Tool Risk Category Rating at Approval Previous Rating Current Rating Political and Governance -- Substantial Substantial Macroeconomic -- Moderate Moderate Sector Strategies and Policies -- Substantial Substantial Technical Design of Project or Program -- Moderate Moderate Institutional Capacity for Implementation and Sustainability -- Substantial Substantial Fiduciary -- Substantial Substantial Environment and Social -- Moderate Moderate Stakeholders -- Moderate Moderate Other -- -- -- Overall -- Substantial Substantial Results PDO Indicators by Objectives / Outcomes Deliver susttainable climate resilience road infrastructure on the Dili-Ainaro corridor IN00701573 ►Roads in good and fair condition as a share of total classified roads (Percentage, Custom) Baseline Actual (Previous) Actual (Current) End Target Value 10.00 63.31 63.31 90.00 Date 31-May-2011 25-Aug-2018 08-May-2019 31-Dec-2021 The figure only takes into account the newly paved road sections (72.60 km out of the total classified roads of 110 km), which have an IRI of 3.
