It is performing well against results indicators. Out of 16 km of sewerage network to be constructed, 15.98 km has been completed and only 240 meters remain to be constructed. More than 20,000 households have benefited from sewage network rehabilitation, against a total target of 48,000. 2439 sewage networks stoppages have been removed, exceeding end of Project targets. Bids have been received and evaluated and the contract is expected to be awarded by Dec. 2013. EC IPA Funds of Euro 10.5 million were granted for construction of the Butila treatment plant. Progress has been made under Component B in strengthening institutional systems, including improvements to the Sarajevo Water Utility Management Information System. This is Public Disclosure Copy expected to improve the processing time for financial transactions and improve reporting across departments within the utility. A new water tariff was introduced in the third quarter of CY 2013 and thus revenues are expected to start increasing by early 2014.
