At the same time the World Bank will be provided with the appropriate funding to provide dedicated TA and supervision. The first pilot privatization enterprise was fully prepared for privatization with the help of internationally recognized Financial Adviser, Mattig Management Company, and received two investment proposals. The winning proposal was submitted by the Hungarian company, Dispomedicor. The National Agency for Investment Promotion and Privatization (NAIP) has prepared a recommendation package for the Council of Ministers. Going forward, it would be essential that all relevant stakeholders (line ministries, concerns, company management and local authorities) fully cooperate with MOE and NAIP in implementing the proposed transaction. Once the first transaction is in place, the team would be ready to support the pilot privatization of up to eight additional enterprises, based on the list already discussed with NAIP.
