As of mid-December 2019, the project loan disbursements stand at about US$217 million (87% of loan funds). Overall, efficient implementation of the project has so far resulted in reconstruction of significantly larger sections of M6 highway than it was originally envisioned (154km vs 86km) and in about 10 mln USD of additional savings.The government of Belarus has sent to the Bank an official request for extension of the original project closing date of June 30, 2020 to allow completion of the TRSCC sub-component and utilization of the project savings.
