This includes an initial delay of approximately nine months in implementation, frequent turnover in PDMA management, and responding to several disaster events. On the other hand, PDMA would initiate procurement process for the remaining goods, including Mobile Operational Support Facility, emergency response vehicles, rescue equipment and connectivity hardware by end-June 2014. It was also agreed that PDMA would undertake a high-profile emergency simulation / drill in June 2014, to demonstrate its improved response capabilities.
