Activities carried out include: (i) water pumps for Aguas Corrientes have been acquired and bidding processes for main water infrastructure works are finished or are progressing as scheduled, (ii) the capacity building program on Non- Revenue Water Reduction has been carried out, bidding processes for water meters are underway and the contract for the Districts for Measurement and Control (DMC) in Salto has been awarded, (iii) the implementation plan for asset management, communication strategy and logistics has been completed in a satisfactory manner, (iv) sludge management Page 1 of 6 The World Bank Report No: ISR15712 activities present a high degree of implementation and six Water Security Plans have been finalized, and (v) important progress has been made in the activities regarding strategic planning with the development of a proposal for an integrated planning and budgeting tool. OSE has published the progress towards achievement of PDOs and intermediate indicators as of December 2014 (http://www.ose.com.uy/e_benchmarking.html). Of the four PDO Public Disclosure Copy indicators, OSE has achieved two of the targets for December 2013, and the other two have an achievement level of 44% due to some difficulties in the implementation of Non- Revenue Water (NRW) reduction Activities. Of the 15 intermediate indicators, OSE did not reach the December 2013 target for 5 of the NRW and Energy Efficiency (replacement of current equipment) indicators. These are expected to be achieved before the project's closing date and OSE has already started the corresponding activities to do so. OSE reached the December 2013 targets for asset management and south-south knowledge exchange activities.
