All works contracts for station and tunnel construction have been signed, including those financed by the Bank (RMB 1.477 billion) and those financed by counterpart funding (RMB 2.059 billion). URC has also completed the procurement of equipment for Line 2. URC has revised its plan to open Line 2 for operation in two stages. Stage I (from Zhanqiannan Avenue Station to Metro Mansion Station) was open on August 18, 2017; and Stage II (from Yayuanlu Station to Xinjia’an Station) is currently planned to be open by April 30, 2019. Among the 11 remaining stations in Stage II, the main structure of 8 stations have been completed and the main structures of 3 stations are being constructed.
