All work has been suspended at the Thabwa- Chitseko-Seven Road due to safeguard breaches, uncovered during supervision. To date, the project has reached 2,070,402 direct beneficiaries, representing 131% of the target of 1,580,000. Number of households with sustainably restored agricultural livelihoods under the IFA program has reached 208,753, which is 116% of the target. 76 classrooms, 10 toilets, 11 staff houses, 2 administration blocks and 1 new borehole across 20 schools in 9 districts have been completed . The process to institutionalization of disaster resilient designs for schools based on safer schools guidelines is completed.
