Amendment to the Multi-Donor Trust Fund for National Statistics System Strengthening
Republic of Liberia: National Statistics System Strengthening Project
(Grant No. TF016277)
Dear Sir:
We refer to the Agreement between the International Development Association ("World Bank")
acting as administrator of the Multi Donor Trust Fund for National Statistics System Strengthening
Project and the Liberia Institute for Statistics and Geo-Information Services (LISGIS) ("Recipient")
dated January 31, 2014. We also refer to the understanding reached with the Recipient to increase
the Grant amount to reflect the availability of additional funds in the amount of $1,170,000.00,
bringing the total amount of the Grant to $1,846,995. Therefore:
1.     The first paragraph of the Agreement is amended to read as follows:
"In response to the request for financial assistance made on behalf of the Liberia Institute
for Statistics and Geo-Information Services (LISGIS) ("Recipient"), I am pleased to
inform you that the International Development Association ("World Bank"), acting as
administrator of grant funds provided by various donors ("Donors") under the Multi Donor
Trust Fund for National Statistics System Strengthening, proposes to extend to the
Recipient for the benefit of the Republic of Liberia ("Member Country"), a grant in an
amount not to exceed one million eight hundred forty six thousand nine hundred ninety
five thousand United States Dollars (US$1,846,995.00) ("Grant") on the terms and
conditions set forth or referred to in this letter agreement ("Agreement"), which includes
the attached Annex, to assist in the financing of the project described in the Annex
("Project")."
2.     The table in Section 3.01 of the Annex to the Agreement is amended to read as follows:

All other provisions of the Agreement, as amended hereby, shall remain in full force and
effect.
The capitalized terms used in this letter ("Amendment") and not defined herein have the
meaning ascribed to them in the Agreement.
Please confirm your agreement with the foregoing by signing, dating and returning to us
the enclosed copy of this Amendment. Upon receipt by the World Bank of the copy of this
Amendment countersigned by you, this Amendment will become effective as of the date of the
countersignature.
