Original/Current Project Development Objectives/Outcomes
The Project Development Objective is to strengthen the Government of Tanzania's scapacity to manage the
mineral sector to improve the socioeconomic impacts of mining for Tanzania and Tanzanians and enhance
private local and foreign investment. It has three main aspects: (i) socioeconomic impacts; (ii) Government
capacity; and (iii) investment.
