We further refer to your letter dated June 18, 2015 requesting an extension of the Closing Date and amendment of the performance indicators for the monitoring and evaluation of the project. We are pleased to inform you that, after due consideration, the World Bank concurs with your request. Accordingly, the World Bank: (i) has established June 21, 2017 as the later date for purposes of Section 3.03 of the Annex to the Agreement; and (ii) proposes to hereby amend the Agreement and as set forth below in this letter of amendment: 1. A new Section 2.06 is added in the Annex to the Agreement to read as follows: "2.06. Project Monitoring, Reporting and Evaluation. (a) The Recipient shall monitor and evaluate the progress of the Project and prepare Project Reports in accordance with the provisions of Section 2.06 of the Standard Conditions and on the basis of the indicators set forth below in paragraph (b) of this Section. Each Project Report shall cover the period of one (1) calendar semester, and shall be furnished to the World Bank not later than one (1) month after the end of the period covered by such report. (b) The performance indicators referred to above in paragraph (a) consist of the following: (i) Number of target children who have been successfully prepared for schooling through home based school preparation program; RCA 248423. Q WUI 64145 L FAX (202) 477-6391 2 (ii) Number of target children enrolled in extracurricular after- school programs, with improved learning achievements; (iii) Number of target children enrolled in compensatory education programs, with improved learning abilities; (iv) Number of direct beneficiary children; and (v) Percentage of female direct beneficiary children. (c) The Recipient shall prepare the Completion Report in accordance with the provisions of Section 2.06 of the Standard Conditions. The Completion Report shall be furnished to the World Bank not later than six months after the Closing Date." Except as specifically amended by this letter of amendment, all other provisions of the Agreement shall remain unchanged and in full force and effect. The World Bank will disclose this letter of amendment and related information in accordance with the World Bank's Policy on Access to Information. By entering into this letter of amendment, the Recipient consents to such disclosure. Please confirm your agreement to the foregoing on behalf of the Recipient by countersigning and dating the corresponding form of confirmation set forth below, and returning one fully signed original of this letter to us. Upon receipt by the World Bank of the copy of this letter of amendment duly countersigned by the authorized representative of the Recipient, the above amendments to the Agreement shall become effective as of the date of countersignature.
