The Grant was implemented by the Institute of Educational Analytics (IEA) under the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine for a period of two and a half years from 2017 to 2019. The Grant supported education sector activities in three areas: (i) developing an integrated Education Management Information System (EMIS); (ii) preparing for participation in the Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA); and (iii) building institutional capacity of the IEA. The project partially achieved its development objective by its closing date of July 24, 2019, with partial achievement of the indicators related to: (i) new EMIS (former DISO, currently named AICEM), which was developed, tested, and is expected to be fully rolled out in November 2019; and (ii) Open Data Portal which was developed and launched on October 18, 2019. Full achievement was registered for the third indicator related to (iii) qualified specialists trained to prepare the national analytical report using PISA data, and all intermediate indicators were achieved.
