All civil work contracts for station and tunnel construction have been signed, including those financed by the Bank (RMB1.477 billion) and those financed by counterpart funding (RMB 2.059 billion). As of end of March 2014, a total investment of RMB 2.70 billion has been made for Line 2. Among all 21 stations of Line 2, two stations have been completed; the main structure of one station is being constructed; the supporting structure of nine stations is being constructed; and pre-construction works are being carried out for the other nine stations. There has been some delay in the construction of specific Public Disclosure Copy stations in the downtown area, due to the complexity and finalization of traffic diversion plans. The URC is working actively to improve such traffic diversion plans and get the approval from the Traffic Police.
