However, progress has been made in the reconstruction of small community infrastructure, housing and roof rehabilitation, and the line of credit to support the small scale fisheries sector. The Project has thus far benefited over 3,900 families from roof rehabilitation (original target surpassed), and 200 families from housing reconstruction. Moreover, women in the small fisheries sector have benefited through micro-credits and training. An Action Plan to address key implementation challenges has been agreed with the Regional Government of RAAN -- the implementing agency -- and is currently under implementation. At the request of the Government of Nicaragua, the Bank canceled US$1.3 million equivalent before the Credit closing date. The GoN is committed to finance with its own funds the community infrastructure works and small health centers that could not be completed under the Original Credit. The next mission is planned for February 2014.
