The Loan Agreement was signed on July 2, 2015, and became effective on September 21, 2015. The Program will support the government in achieving a number of measurable results, targeting poor rural areas. These include improvements in maternal and child health services, as well as primary-level services addressing non-communicable diseases. Also to be supported by the Program are improvements in quality assurance and information systems. Results will be monitored and measured over the course of the coming year.
