Page 1 of 5 The World Bank Report No: ISR15782 The new program implementation arrangements are being finalized, including the technical assistance package (short-listing stage) and the supervising engineer and operational audit (REOIs launched on July 11, 2014). Progress on the implementation of the safeguards aspects of the program has slipped in recent months. Public Disclosure Copy - The ongoing relocation for the first resettlement phase to the three resettlement sites is delayed by 2 months (now scheduled end August) due to delays in finalizing water supply systems. - An independent audit should be carried out to make sure lessons learnt from first phase are incorporated into the design of the second phase resettlement - There has been no progress regarding the second phase of resettlement since the February mission. In particular, the critical second phase census has stalled due to difficulties associated with counterpart financing.
