Some of the negative...  Voir la suite The development objective of the Renewable Energy Integration Project for Turkey is to assist Turkey in meeting its increased power demand by strengthening the transmission system and facilitating large-scale renewable energy generation. Some of the negative impacts and mitigation measures include: (1) sufficient compensation at replacement cost to cover acquisition of an equivalent land; (2) the losses and damages will be assessed by Turkish Electricity Transmission Corporation (TEIAS) expropriation team, if livelihood impacts significant TEIAS will make an assessment of additional compensation; (3) cash compensation to cover equivalent market cost of the materials to build a replacement structure with an area and quality similar including the necessary additional costs to build those structures in accordance with legislation and moving allowances; (4) loss of long term easement value to be determined by the valuation commission, and compensation of losses and damages; and (5) if project affected peoples (PAPs) are severely affected, meaning the affected holdings are their major source of income, assistance will be provided to help restore their livelihoods.  Réduire
