Achievement of these objectives will be measured by the following in project areas: an increase in knowledge of men and women aged15-24 years regarding HIV/AIDS and two means of avoiding transmission; increase in the use of condoms by young people (aged 15 to24) during non-union sexual contact in the last 12 months; increase in the use of condoms by military personnel during sexualcontract over the last 12 months; prevalence of HIV in pregnant women aged 15 to 24; modern methods contraceptive prevalence ratein pregnant women (in urbanand in rural areas); percentage of women aged 15 to 24 wishing to space births by at least two years;and percentage of women who donot want anymore children. The next supervision mission is scheduled in January 2012. The Implementation Status and Result (ISR) report will be updatedaccordingly just after the proposed mission as well as the project indicators. Public Disclosure Copy The project is on track and is making rapid progress on implementing, including on fiduciaries aspects. The acceleration of implementation progress has been facilitated by the large amount of time spent and attention paid on the ground to the project, by the Bank task team, , whom provided intensive technical assistance, involving international Results Based Financing (RBF) experts and some capable local and international consultants for the Mobile Team components. However, discussions are on going with the Government, Public Disclosure Copy especially the Minister of Economy and plan for a possible extension of the project beyond the June 2012 closing date to allow completion of project activities; this extension will probably need to cover a 12 to 18-month period (from June 2012 to June or December 2013).
