An important effort has been made for the establishment of local steering committees, and the elaboration of the local development plans (SAHP). Regarding sub-projects implementation, 12 cisterns and 2 open reservoirs have been constructed,10 grazing area set-asides and capacity building program has been implemented. In addition the PIU has been staffed and equipped. The team provided technical assistance and made recommendations in order to improve the implementation of project's activities. Due to the exceeding of certain unit prices and the amount of certain activities as well as the need to update the result Framework, it is necessary to restructure the project, on the basis of a request to be sent to the Bank, together with the proposed new cost tables and updating the disbursement and procurement plans. Regional support teams to accompany this process of community development have been implemented and are functional. On the other hand, physical achievements continue to accumulate delays, since only 12 cisterns and 2 open reservoirs have been completed and 10 grazing set-aside were Page 7 of 8 The World Bank Report No: ISR14639 implemented. It is necessary to accelerate the implementation of the remaining activities.
