To date disbursements are SDR 0.9 million or 1.3%. Last mission took place in June 2014. Road Component. Following a failed procurement for the single road works (San Buenaventura - Ixiamas) under the project at end of 2013, the works were rebid earlier this year. The Bank recently provided its no objection to the selection of contractors and it is expected that ABC will conclude contracting before the end of 2014, with works staring after the rain season in March or April 2015. The cost of the contracts exceed currently available project financing. Procurement for the supervision was completed in 2013. Operation Manual Page 1 of 5 The World Bank Report No: ISR16497 (ABC/CIPTA agreement) for IPP is has been completed and it is expected that implementation of the IPP will start soon. Attention will be given to ensure that a Covenant for strengthening Contract Management will be fulfilled. Airport component. In February 2013 the Bank team discovered that there is an unresolved problem with compensation to two landowners - this issue precedes this project. As a Public Disclosure Copy result, the Bank informed AASANA that No Objections would be withheld under this component until the problem is solved. While it is reported that progress is being made, payments to landowners have to date not been made. Discussions have started between GoB and the Bank on possible additional financing to cover higher cost of road and airport components and restructuring of the project, although actions on these would only be expected at the end of CY2015.
