Under the Health Component, civil works are completed in Atalaia do Norte and Benjamin Constant, and well underway in the other municipalities, with the exception of hospital waste treatment. Under the Water Supply and Sanitation Component, the works are 98% completed in Atalaia Public Disclosure Copy do Norte, 83% in Tabatinga and 70% in Benjamin Constant. Overall implementation and progress towards achievement of the PDO are satisfactory. The project closing date has been extended to December 31, 2013, in response to Government's request.
