The major outcomes of the project in the four major components include: - Capacity of central, regional and local statistical officers has been enhanced through procurement of 334 3G Internet modems which enabled efficient data collection at soum level, timely transmission from soums to central office through Internet and timely dissemination. As a result, the working conditions, technical knowledge, skills as well as performance of soum statistical officers have improved. User satisfaction survey was conducted following the same methodology of the previous survey. To provide opportunities for users to obtain Public Disclosure Copy statistical products in various forms and access data quickly the MNSO has procured 40 tablet PCs for its staff both in central and local statistical offices which enabled online/ electronic statistical library, e-data archive, e-data dissemination, and e-education/training for users to access data for 24 hours, without restrictions of time and border. As such, it provides opportunities for NSO to disseminate the data at low cost. MNSO also developed EzStat for Apple users, as a result, the users can access statistical information of MNSO in the forms of tables, bar charts, pie charts and line charts. MNSO added new links such as MONSTAT, UB city group to its website to promote and improve www.nso.mn website contents, functionality, and user-friendliness. MNSO has launched www.1212.mn website and 1212 hotline to answer inquiries. - Business and household registers were revised, in-house software was developed and became functional to build BR database. Asset classifications were revised according to SNA 2008 and approved by the Methodology Council of MNSO. Criteria of quality indicators and evaluation forms for Code of Practice have been drafted in order to enhance data quality. - Survey on SUT compilation at constant price was conducted towards full implementation of SNA. Agricultural Census was conducted for the first time, surveys and estimations on NOE were conducted (IS, artisanal mining, illegal activities, intentional distortion of business accounting) and all estimations have been made for the first time. The Household based social survey has been conducted and survey report has been produced. Aimag level poverty indicators were estimated. -Technical specifications of the IT plan, security networking and equipment were reviewed and finalized and the IT bid document was finalized and the bid was announced. Two complimenting Trust Funds: SCB TF (93575) and Korea TF (94696) have been fully disbursed and completed their implementation.
