The participatory sustainable land management (SLM) action plan has been rolled out successfully in six geogs -- the locations for the project's scale-up following the pilot in three geogs. Due to its inclusive approach, the project directly targets 4,552 beneficiaries in 138 chiogs in the nine project-funded geogs. The targets for conversion of degraded and vulnerable forest, grazing and agricultural lands, and shifting cultivation lands to more sustainable forms of land use have been met or exceeded.
