The first implementation support mission was carried out from October 15-19, 2018. Project implementation has picked up speed after its effectiveness.The project has either met or is on track to meet all 2018 targets. Progress towards achievement of PDO, and overall implementation progress and component-wise performance have been rated Satisfactory. As required by the legal covenants, implementation arrangements have been established and the project technical team has been formed in the Ministry of Education. A Project Operations Manual has been adopted to guide project implementation.
