The station is fully functional except of the GHI pyranometer ventilation unit. The pyrheliometer and pyranometers showed no significant increase in their Irradiation signal upon cleaning of the sensor head. It is recommended to clean the sensors on a daily basis in order to reduce the influ- ence of sensor soiling on the irradiance data. ESMAP Report 3 Pk-QASP-151117_CSPS_MaintenanceReport CSPS CSPS Tier1 Maintenance Report Concentrating Solar Power Services Completed Tasks  Foundations checked for integrity.  All parts and sensors of the station examined for damage, dust or condensed humidity, current status recorded and equipment cleaned where necessary.  Vertical alignment of wind mast checked, wind mast anchorage and wind mast guying ropes checked for stability, secure fixation to the ground and tightness.  Sun tracker alignment adjusted and fine-tuned, no perceptible influence on the irradiance data stated.  Irradiance sensor alignment and leveling adjusted and fine-tuned, no perceptible influence on the irradiance data stated.  CVF4 ventilation unit filters exchanged, DHI CVF4 ventilation unit repaired (oxi- dized cable connection cleaned and solded)  Solar irradiation sensors checked for proper operation and functionality; sensors cleaned, impact of cleaning on data recorded.  Sensor cables on sun tracker checked.  Batteries Box and ACDC Converter inspected and correct operation of 12 VDC and 24 VDC circuits verified.  Maintenance platform checked.  Datalogger program correct operation verified.  Measured quantities checked for proper operation and correct values.  Cleaning inspection button checked for proper functioning.  Fuses, electrical components and wiring checked. Pending Tasks / Recommended Tasks for next Maintenance Visit  Repair or replace GHI ventilation unit fan (cables oxidized at connection point). Replacement unit will be purchased locally by PITCO or sent by CSPS, replace- ment can be done by local staff ESMAP Report 4 Pk-QASP-151117_CSPS_MaintenanceReport CSPS CSPS Tier1 Maintenance Report Concentrating Solar Power Services Maintenance Checklist Checked/ Component Work Item approved Comments yes no Foundations and anchors intact x Foundations Fence and door intact x No fence, secured roof area Lock on door intact and usable x No fence, secured roof area Firmly installed x Tracker Sup- port and Grounding cable connected x Control box All bolts tightened x Visual examination x Maint. As can be seen from the panoramic view in Figure 21, this tower blocks out the sun in the early morning in March/April and September/October. Figure 22: Shading occurences for all sun elevations Figure 22 shows that in the morning, this new building blocks the sun for some time after sunrise in March/April and September/October. Other small obstacles with low elevations are also present. ESMAP Report 10 Pk-QASP-151117_CSPS_MaintenanceReport CSPS CSPS Tier1 Maintenance Report Concentrating Solar Power Services Figure 23: Shading occurences for all sun elevations >5° above horizon Figure 23 shows that after excluding sun elevations smaller than 5° above horizon, the new mosque tower in the east has only minimal shading impact on the measure- ment data in the morning. As there is no way to avoid this obstacles now, the influence on the data will be considered in the evaluations. ESMAP Report 11 Pk-QASP-151117_CSPS_MaintenanceReport
