The social and economic reintegration component is an integral part of the national DDRR program and is seen as an important instrument to leverage the peace building in CAR. The PIU, with support of implementing partners, namely ACTED and IOM, has completed the screening process of dozens of infrastructures in Paoua, Bouar, Koui (western CAR); and Ndélé and Bria (eastern CAR) to start the construction and/or rehabilitation activities in the first quarter of FY20.
