The project is on track for achieving its PDO and implementation progress is well maintained. Key staff of the project were recruited (PCU coordinator and SME TA Facility Manager), and the project launch event took place on April 26, 2019 with participation of all project counterparts. Next two big milestones for the project are (i) finalization of the Operational manuals (both Project Operational Manual and SME TA Facility operational manual) expected by June 2019, and (ii) SME TA facility Launch currently planned for mid-July 2019 which will focus on marketing and socialization of aspects of firm- level services provided through the SME TA Facility client support process, along with networking/ecosystem support services. The Annual Work Plan and Budget draft has been finalized with inputs from relevant beneficiary MDAs and SME TA Facility manager. Decision on office location has to be made by Ministry of Trade and Industry – recommendations on appropriate location that meets criteria for providing incubation services, adequate open space for co-working and shared facilities were provided by project team.
