Republic ofAngola: Angola Market Oriented Smallholder Agriculture Project (MOSAP)
Amendment to the Financing Agreement (Credit 4502-ANG)
We refer to: (a) the Financing Agreement (the Agreement) for the above-referenced
Project between the International Development Association and the Government of the
Republic of Angola, dated November 26, 2009; and (b) your letter dated December 31, 2012.
We are pleased to inform you that the Association agrees to your request and
proposes to amend the Agreement as follows:
a. Section 2.01 of the Agreement is deleted and replaced by the following language:
" 2.01.   The Association agrees to extend to the Recipient, on the terms and
conditions set forth or referred to in this Agreement, a credit in an amount equivalent to
thirteen million Special Drawing Rights (SDR 13,000,000) (variously "Credit and
"Financing") to assist in financing the Project described in Schedule I to this Agreement
("Project")."
b. In Schedule 2 to the Agreement, Sub-paragraph I (b) of Part A of Section III is
deleted and replaced by the following language:
"(b)    The performance outcome indicators referred to above in sub-paragraph (a)
consist of the following:
(i)    40% of target smallholder have adopted and improved agricultural
technology promoted by the Project.
(ii)   10%   of  agricultural production  increase  of participating
smallholders."
c. In Schedule 2 to the Agreement, the table in Paragraph 2 of Section IV is amended as
follows:

with this Letter Amendment remain unchanged.
Please indicate your agreement with the foregoing, by countersigning and dating the
two original copies of this letter and returning one countersigned original copy to the
Association. Upon receipt by the Association of said original countersigned by the
Authorized Representative of the Recipient and dated, this Amendment shall become
effective as of the date of countersignature of this letter.
