Based on the review conducted by the mission, the project is fully back on track: (i) all the civil works contracts of Road Improvement are under implementation and will be fully completed by the new project closing date (December 31, 2014); (ii) the institutional capacity development component continues to progress well with all the contract packages under implementation except the road sector Public Disclosure Copy reform consultancy services which is under the Road Board Secretariat; (iii) the procurement of the first year preventive maintenance program contracts has been completed, and four contracts have been completed and five are on-going; and (iv) the four contract packages of the Long-Term Performance-Based Maintenance (LTPBM) sub-component have been bid out.
