The Project performance is unsatisfactory. The performance of the project was discussed between the Regional Director of the World Bank and the President of Azerbaijan in February 2013. Following orders by the President, the works have Page 1 of 4 The World Bank Report No: ISR11069 resumed but still need to catch up with the implementation schedule. Additional civil works (about half the scope for the project) will be awarded by the end of June 2013. ARS should deploy all efforts for signing those new contracts by the end of June 2013 to allow resuming disbursement thus putting the Project back on track.
