The operation was signed on December 13, 2017 and declared effective on January 19, 2018. The Restructuring and Second Implementation Support Mission of the SANKALP-Skill India Mission Operation took place from August 20 to 31, 2018. The World Bank team and the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) have mutually agreed to revise the disbursement linked indicators in the light of institutional, structural and regulatory changes effected by the MSDE. The proposed restructuring will ensure that the and Project Development Objective (PDO) and other results are met within the implementation period.
