After one year of implementation, OSE has made important progress towards achieving the Project PDO, including (i) bidding processes for main water infrastructure and non-revenue water (NRW) activities either completed or on schedule; (ii) assessment, models, and implementation plan for asset management, communication strategy and logistics completed in a satisfactory manner; (iii) bidding process to develop District of Measurements and Control (DMC) in Salto and La Paz-Las Piedras and to purchase and install micro and macro meters at a national level Page 1 of 5 The World Bank Report No: ISR13380 underway; (iv) procurement process for two firm consultancies to support sludge management solution underway; (v) six Water Security Plans (WSP) showed high level of progress; (vi) four south-south exchanges completed; and (vii) a draft energy management policy and bidding documents for the replacement of equipment developed.
