Management of Forest Resources Project nearing appraisal (English)

The third and last project preparation workshop for the Management of the Forest Resources Project (formally called the National Forests Project) was held in Brasilia on December 18-20, 1995. The overall objective of the project is to support the development and adoption of sustainable forest management systems in the Amazon through strategic actions and pilot experiences in priority areas.
