The development objective of the Central Asia South Asia Electricity Transmission and Trade Project (Casa-1000) for Kyrgyz Republic is to create the conditions for sustainable electricity trade between the Central Asian countries of Tajikistan and Kyrgyz Republic and the South Asian countries of Afghanistan and Pakistan. The additional financing (AF) will help close the financing gap under CASA-1000 in the Kyrgyz Republic.
