This press release announces that the World Bank approved a loan of two million two hundred thousand US dollars for the expansion and improvement of telecommunications services in Fiji on June 19, 1972. The expanded services will help provide effective telecommunications needed to promote trade and commerce in all areas of Fiji, and will assist the government in administering and developing these areas.
