Exports and Labor Demand : Evidence from Egyptian Firm-Level Data (anglais)

Unlike many countries, the Arab Republic of Egypt did not experience significant labor market improvements following trade liberalization. This paper investigates why increased Egyptian exports did not directly increase employment.
