This news release, dated May 19, 1983, announces Zimbabwe will undertake a highway project in the eastern part of the country and a rural afforestation program with the assistance of the World Bank. The roads project will benefit from a loan of 26.4 million dollars from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD).
