Implementation Completion and Results Report (ICR) Document - FCPF-Capacity Building on REDD+ for Forest-Dependent Indigenous Peoples in EAP and SAR Project - P153585 (anglais)

Ratings of Forest Carbon Partnership Facility (FCPF)-Capacity Building on Reducing Emissions from Deforestation and Forest Degradation (REDD+) for Forest-Dependent Indigenous Peoples in East Asia and the Pacific (EAP) and South Asia Region (SAR) Project were as follows: outcome was highly satisfactory, Bank performance was satisfactory, and monitoring and evaluation quality was substantial. Some of the lessons learned include: (i) Utilizing an implementing agency based in the region, with grant management structures in place, was vital to the success of this project; (ii) Small recipient executed trust funded projects should develop more robust Theories of Change and dedicate funds for evaluation; and (iii) Greater focus on increasing women’s participation in capacity building activities on REDD+, and the need for more targeted activities to increase women’s participation.
