The development objective of Catastrophe Bond for Increased Financial Resilience to Natural Disasters and Climate Shocks Project for Jamaica to expand Jamaica's financial protection against losses arising from severe tropical cyclones-wind. This project has one component that is to develop and implement risk transfer transactions against tropical cyclones-wind effects, including through the financing of transaction costs and premiums.
