These remarks were delivered by Eugene R. Black, President of the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development to the Economic Society of Zurich, Zurich, Switzerland on March 21, 1956. He spoke about the ten years of Bank's operations with Switzerland in finance and trade. He expressed his appreciation for the great assistance which had been rendered by Switzerland to the World Bank in all its operations.
