2024年度(FY24)に、多数国間投資保証機関(MIGA)は、40のプロジェクトに対して過去最高の82億ドルの新規保証を発行しました。これらのプロジェクトを通じて、MIGAは、クライアントが非商業リスクを管理・軽減できるよう支援することにより、ホスト国の経済発展を促進するための民間投資の奨励に引き続き注力してきました。24年度には、40のプロジェクトのうち95%がMIGAの戦略的優先分野の少なくとも1つを支援した:国際開発協会(IDA)の適格国に対するMIGAのコミットメントは相当なもので、26のプロジェクトを支援した(全プロジェクトの65%が支援)。また、脆弱で紛争の影響を受けた状況(FCS)へのMIGAの関与も注目に値し、支援されたプロジェクト全体の25%を占める10のプロジェクトを支援しました。また、今年は気候変動対策への関心が大きな焦点となり、MIGAは30のプロジェクト(全プロジェクトの75%を占める)に対して保証を発行しました。その結果、24年度の発行では、220万人にモバイルインターネットへのアクセスを提供する。モバイルマネーサービスへの新規加入者数を1,220万人追加。ホスト国政府に年間6億5,780万ドルの税収を生み出します。年間647,000トン以上の二酸化炭素(CO2)排出を回避します。
